Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is one of the most well-known and highly valued functional mushrooms. Our chaga is wild-harvested in Lapland, Finland.
To make our potent, organic chaga tincture, we use only the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms, no mycelium. Chaga is extracted with ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) technology, as well as alcohol and hot water. With this innovative extraction method our aim is to maximise the bioavailability of the compounds of interest found in chaga.

Through ultrasonication, the mushroom (chitin) cell walls are broken in order to increase bioavailability of compounds. Ultrasonic assisted extraction guarantees that our mushroom extracts have the full spectrum of bioactive compounds.

Chaga
Chaga is grown in Lapland in organic certified forests. The harsh weather conditions producine potent chaga conks full of medicinal compounds. Once collected, the chaga conks are transported to KÄÄPÄ Headquarters for processing and manufacturing.
